"Strange, Solitary Times" is a semi-live recording from the homes of those in the band. The release and accompanying video were prompted by the fact that the first half of 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and quarantine, had been a largely solitary time for most people.

The performance was recorded in early May 2020 and the accompanying audio recording from the original source video was promptly released on Bandcamp.

In November 2023, the raw audio recordings were remixed and remastered, with spoken dialogue from the original video removed, to create a sort of "live" music EP.
