about

"Strange, Solitary Times" is a semi-live recording from the homes of those in the band. The release and accompanying video were prompted by the fact that the first half of 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and quarantine, has been a largely solitary time for most people.

The performance was recorded in early May 2020 and includes a mix of old and new songs, including tracks from the new album “Hallow” (released by Heidenvolk Records) and In Ruin’s seminal cover of the Darkwood classic “Break of Dawn.”

The Bandcamp edition includes a bonus track, “Hagalaz,” and is being released in collaboration with The Covenant, who premiered the video and audio recording on May 23, 2020.
